Single speeding on a Sunday

Excellent bike ride to celebrate Isa's birthday. Surprised with how well I managed the climbs on the single speed must get out more often, great fun! Cycled about 30 miles hitting a max speed of 34.5mph.

I have justed ordered another front chain ring from Charlie the Bike Monger. I am replacing my 32 tooth with a 34. New ratio 34:16

According to the chart on his web site I will be going from 52 to 55? Comments to follow once fitted!

What am i supposed to do with these?

On-One Inbred singlespeed build

I'm going to attempt to build a single speed mountain bike. This will be quite a challenge as it is my first build!! But at this stage I remain quite optimistic :)

After some research I narrowed the frame down to a Surly 1x1 and an On-One Inbred, in the end I opted for the On-One Inbred, purchased through Chain reaction cycles at a bargain price.

I eagerly await my new frame and look forward to starting this project!!
